- High Cholesterol

Stroke in Kentucky
- In 2016 the CDC reported that in the state of Kentucky, stroke ranks as number 14th of leading causes of death.
- The University of Kentucky prepared a report in 2017 of stroke incidence in Kentucky from 2015 statistics. The report stated the following statistics of stroke patients:
- 60% were older than 65
- 51% were women
- 75% had high blood pressure
- 36% had high cholesterol
- 34% had diabetes
- 23% were smokers
